Gather to Worship

Worship is central to our life together as the Body of Christ, and we extend an open invitation to you with the hope that you will find meaning, comfort, and hospitality while you are with us.    Scroll down for more information about our service.

Gather For Fellowship

Jesus tells us that when two or three are gathered in His name, He is with them. Fellowship with other Christ followers provides encouragement, makes us stronger and reminds us that we are not alone.  Scroll down for information about Wednesday night fellowship activities.

  • Worship at 10:30 AM

Understanding that folks worship and connect with God in different ways, we celebrate and honor God with a convergence of the ancient and new.

The music in this service draws from the most familiar hymns of the historical church that teach us about the nature of God, as well as new songs of praise that focus our attention on offering thanksgiving and praise to God.

You will hear a relevant message offered by our pastor and participate in many time-honored rituals of the Methodist tradition, including prayer, creeds and the celebration of the sacraments.

We believe that children of all ages learn what it means to worship and to be a part of a community of faith by being present in the service, however, if you prefer, a nursery is provided for children up to age three during each service.

  • Wednesday Night Fellowship

During the traditional school year, Wednesday nights are an important time of fellowship in the Angier United Methodist faith community. An informal meal among friends old and new, an open place to voice prayer concerns and celebrate joys, and an opportunity to engage our hearts and minds together as we seek to be the people of God in our place and time.

Dinner is available in the fellowship hall from 6:15 - 6:45.

A time of devotion and prayer is shared while finishing dinner at 6:45.

Choir Rehearsal, Children's Time and the Youth Gathering begin at 7:00
