Connect to Grow

A disciple is someone who is learning and growing.

Connecting with other Christ-followers and engaging our minds and spirits through study and conversation is the primary way we grow in our faith.

At Angier UMC, we offer a variety of ways to increase

our knowledge and wisdom of God.

  • Sunday School

We offer a variety of Sunday School classes for all age groups. Children and Youth are grouped by grade level, while adults can chose from a variety of topical based classes. All classes meet at 9:15 am on Sundays.  CLICK HERE to discover our class options.

  • Children's Ministry

Our Children's group meets Wednesday nights during the traditional school year from 7:00 till 8:00.   Gatherings can include a combination of story telling, creative art time, a cool science experiment and music. Community kids ages Pre K thru 5th grade are invited to join us!

  • UMYF - United Methodist Youth Fellowship

Youth Group at Angier UMC is filled with many opportunities to explore what it means to be a member of God’s family. You'll grow closer to God and with others through great conversations, fun times of fellowship and worship, and working side by side to help others.

Youth group is open to anyone who is in grades 6 - 12.  You don’t have to be a member of Angier UMC... you just have to have an open heart and open mind and want to know God better!

The Youth Group meets at the church for Bible Study at 7pm on Wednesday evenings during the traditional school year and for various other events.

For more information, please contact Lisa, our youth coordinator.

  • Methodist Men's Fellowship

The Methodist Men meet on the second Saturday of the month for devotion, breakfast and planning mission and ministry projects and events.  Come join them!

  • Iron Men

As iron sharpens iron, men sharpen men,

The Iron Men are a group of men who want to go deeper in their faith as they study Scripture, strengthen their relationship with God and their families,  hold one another accountable and offer encouragement to one another.  They meet at the church at 7:00 pm on the fourth Thursday of the month.
